BarracudaBarracuda is an interactive CD, containing resources, links, examples, templates, ideas, information, and tips on using ILT which are relevant to staff working in post-16 educational either in a teaching or support role such as LRC staff.
Barracuda can be used at:
- Induction level for new staff to introduce them to the range of resources and applications relating to ILT and e-learning.
- Organisational level to stimulate interest and encourage more effective use of ILT.
- Managerial level as a reference resource for staff working to support the development of ILT.

How much does it cost?
There are 3 options to select from when purchasing Barracuda:
- Whole Organisation ILT Support Package
- 200 Barracuda CDs
- Site Visit from a member of the RSC SE team to provide guidance on a suitable Staff Development strategy to sustain the interest generated from the initial provision of the CDs to staff and to train the trainers on the features of the CD
- Cost: £399 P&P if not delivered as part of Site Visit
- Group Package
- 30 Barracuda CDs individually packaged
- Cost: £99 P&P
- Management Team Package
- 10 Barracuda CDs individually packaged
- Cost: £50 P&P
E-Resource Pack (Entice)
The Entice resource packs are a collection of resource CDs, each one targeted at a different subject area. They can be:
- Given to individual tutors so they can access to materials quickly for developing new teaching resources
- Given to a curriculum area to become more familiar with types and the use of e-learning resources,
- Given to new staff at induction as a quick way in to e-learning resources in their subject area.
- Kept within the Learning Resources Centre and lent out to support the development of e-learning for fractional and part-time staff
- Used as material to support staff development days
- Installed on the college intranet as a general resource for all staff.

Cost:
Each Entice Resource Pack costs £30 to cover the cost of production with an additional charge for postage.
